Alright, little time at the moment, so I'm just gonna

I already meant to write about this on Monday, but then I was busy all those days up 'til now either wildly running around all over the place or else answering to comments (I was starting to wonder if I was ever gonna see the end of that @-@) , and I finally got the time to post this, so I'm gonna damn well take that chance!

Seriously.

Went to visit a friend yesterday. It's about a half hour walk from my place to hers. On the way there, I was hit on by a total of 3! guys, one of them trying (and failing *smirks*) to slobber all over me and another wanting me to marry him!!?!? WTF?!

Kind of busy at the moment (when am I not? @-@), am pretty exhausted, but I'm trying my best to get some of my stuff posted soon, folks, I promise!

btw, here's something for you guys:
After running round town for three hours straight today on top of getting just 2 somewhat hours worth of sleep (again -_-), I felt rather drained, so I dropped down in front of the TV and just WATCHED. Sis joins me on returning from school a few minutes later.
Happens I'm watching Nickelodeon (shocker). Happens next show that's on is Drake & Josh. Happens it's our all-favorite episode "Josh is done".
Sis sits there watching, then when Drake is lying on top the ping pong table after running out of Chem class, she suddenly goes, "You'd think he's love-sick..."

I was tempted badly to say: "But of course, he IS. What do YOU think?"
Bit my tongue and didn't, though ;D

I get the feeling I'm not up to keeping this whole lj-thing up to date...
I'm gonna try post at least once a week in future though, even if I don't really get around to saying anything important -_-

Anyhow, there's a reason why I'm being such a slowpoke at the moment, as there is a) I was finally forced to acknowledge my muse and started writing again (got two stories finished last week, working on third), b) people are trying to annoy me (all I want is some sleep, is that too much to ask for?! -_-) and c) I'm ill (in case you were wondering, that's also the reason for all the -_-). I got a headache like you wouldn't believe, my throat hurts like a bitch, I feel sick (wish I could be, too. Desperately. Doesn't work though, there's nothing in there for me to throw up :( and I got like, 5 hours of sleep since Thursday...
Someone please kill me!

So the street or more precisely the house sis and I are now living in, there was no actual street when we moved in. Thus back in January, our lovely "Stadt Bonn" (Bonn's the city/town where I live, Stadt is simply city) began working on... something (I suppose it's going to be a street of sorts someday...?).
Then suddenly two weeks ago, they went, "Hey, let's dig a big, stupid hole for no purpose whatsoever (there really was no reason for that hole at all, I swear. I asked them!)", and, why, of course they had to go and rip out the cables for telephone and TV. "Oops..." Yes, INDEED!!
Anyways, yesterday they finally got finished repairing the damage, so here I am again ^^
Be back posting later, kinda busy today, just a big THANK YOU to okvegascowgirl for the awesome DVD once more :D

First things first: I finally got my new bookshelf and I couldn't be any happier :D ... well, I'd be even happier if my new wardrobe was to arrive 5 weeks early, but I'm pretty content as it is ^^ Had to install my stereo all over again for the third time in two months (it's kind of fun, though) as well as arrange my books in double rows, but that's ok since the shelves are broad enough. Plus, I finally got enough space for the turn tables ^_____^

Work is pretty good at the moment, too :)

AND: I got the tickets to Priest!!! :D

Next topic: I thought about it, and y'know what, night_songs_93? You definitely got a point there, the cover art would make for a lovely icon, so... I made one ^^

Moreover, what was it with me complaining to you about German Nick and how I fear they're not planning on continuing with D&J? Well, apparently (fortunately!) I was wrong! Starting this very Sunday, there's going to be new episodes for  'the German people' lol YAY!

Which reminds me: I think I once offered urania_chan to help her out with some of the episodes from American TurboNick. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me either anymore and I don't have all the eps on my HD, all I've got of the episodes that haven't been aired here yet is "Eric punches Drake" & the second movie "Really Big Shrimp" as well as the odd clip from several others, so in case you're still interested, I could make a DVD  and send it to you. Just tell me what you want on the DVD and I'm right off to work :) Oh, and I might need your address if you're comfortable with me knowing it...?

You got me... I absolutely don't know where to start, but I guess it's no use writing about stuff from 3 months ago, so I'll just start with yesterday (besides, that was a pretty chilled, easy day which is always a good thing, plus... I can still remember it, quit laughing!):

My Kind-Of-Not-Quite-Wannabe-Stepfather-In-Honor asked me if I wanted to come over and hang out, have a movie night or some such thing, so we went down to Videon to get some DVDs. Of course he would leave it to me and me alone to choose the movies, claiming he'd seen them all (my ass!), so I picked two. Then he asked me if we should get another one, and I, again, asked in return (never stop trying ;) if perhaps he'd seen something he'd like to watch. And hey, indeed, he has! ... Only thing is (loads of unintelligible mumbling) it's an action movie, sorta.
Okay, so what? And there I was thinking the Apocalypse would be over something a bit more, I dunno, let's say meaningful? Yes, I am exaggerating, but what the ....? I LOVE action movies, for chrissake!
So I'm still occupied trying to sort out what for crying out loud it is he's saying, in the meantime he's gone on providing the information that "It was something with Jackie Khan (!?)", but he "can't remember what it was."...
All right... so what was that you were saying about action movies, man? Come again?
I know it's not very witty, but I just couldn't resist asking him if he was sure it wasn't actually Dschingis Chan he was talking about, but he didn't even catch that... aw, the hell.
So we gotta search the whole store all.over.again. Half way through, he suddenly goes: "It's the one where he's wearing a tux, you know...", well DUH! The Tuxedo, maybe? What do I know?, "... and there's his partner standing next to him." See, now THAT's a clue I can work with. That leaves me with two options, either it's Owen Wilson or Chris Tucker, but since he probably wouldn't be wearing a tux in "Shanghai Noon/Knights", I'll just go with the assumption it's "Rush Hour 3"... which was right up front in the store where our quest for the Untitled Jackie Khan Movie began! Sweet!
On that notice, though... is it just me or does the choice of song after Lee tells Carter that he's not his brother strike someone else as funny, too? I mean, come on, "Sorry seems to be the hardest word", in the original Elton John version at that? What's up with that? Well, me at least, I had to laugh ^___^
And I really don't think that the screen adaption of "Das Parfum" (is it "The Perfume" in English as well?) is that bad, I kinda enjoyed it... a lot, actually! :)

I intended to make this longer, but I guess that really is enough rambling for one day and I'm kinda tired, so I'll just make sure to keep some long time overdue promise (well, sort of) and include something in this post, namely links to German clips of Sturmfrei (Grammy), Josh überfährt Oprah (Josh runs into Oprah), to give an impression of the old VA, and Das Baumhaus (Tree House) #1 and Das Baumhaus #2.
So, there you go night_songs_93 ^^ Sorry about the bad quality, but I didn't get around to actually upload something myself and that's all I could come up with on Youtube... and I'm perfectly aware of course that you could of done that yourself (and probably have) but well, in case you haven't... ^^;
On the topic of searching stuff on Youtube, strange albeit quite hilariously entertaining things can happen to you when doing that as I just had my eyes opened to. I was searching for the German clip from the episode "Drake's süßes Laster" ("The Bet") they used to have on there, so I typed 'drake & josh süßes laster'. When that got no results, I tried 'drake & josh bet' in case it got posted with the original title and some subtle hint like GERMAN, or something like that. Still no results... but the funniest question a search engine's ever popped at you: The thing actually asked me if I meant: 'drake & josh bett' XD ... Okay, so this is probably just my sleepy, stupid, silly mind, but, yes, I had to make a double take, then go like "WHAAT?!?" and laugh like crazy! LOL ... doing that a lot today/yesterday whatever... Oh yes, by the way, 'Bett' is the German word for 'bed', just in case you were wondering *g*

Alright, so after moving followed by months of waiting for T-kom to finally get their act together and get me my Internet back, lo and behold... IT'S DONE!!! Finally!
Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth like that, but I really didn't have much of a choice -_-

Er, well... yes, so life's been really... eventful recently. No time, no food, no sleep and definitely no brain cells left... -_- However, I just wanted to jot a few things down here so as not to forget:
1) ... right, what was that again? - Ah, yes... American TurboNick is now working for people outside the US (has been for some time as it seems, but I only just found out about two weeks ago and didn't get around to write about it here), which is way cool, cause now I can already watch a great deal of the new D&J eppies before they air them here in Germany, which is a good, a VERY good thing indeed because a) it's the OV and that's always a good thing (my logic, certainly is amazing, isn't it? Oo;) and b) brings me to point 2), namely...
2) Drake's new VA. Not sure yet what to think of him... he's not TOO bad, but let me tell you this: watching the premiere of 'Tree House', I spent the whole first part of the episode breaking out Laughing (yup, capital L) like some loopy lunatic, every time that guy'd speak up... XXXD
3) ...... aw, drat, now I forgot what it was I wanted to write about AGAIN... and besides, I really oughtta go to- no, have gone to sleep about an hour ago, so I think I'll try writing more tomorr- later today, c ya...

Okay, so I've been up for nearly 48 hours non-stop now, and I'm still going strong, doing pretty well right now, feeling great :D ... but looking like a mix between shit & walking death -_-   hair's looking great though! :)

Nur soviel: Es war eine Hausaufgabe (bei der ich es ausnahmsweise, wenngleich weniger aufgrund eines eventuell verborgenen Sinnes oder Nutzens (HAH! XD), sondern vielmehr, weil ich die Woche zuvor nen neuen Deutschlehrer bekommen hatte mit dem ich mich vorteilhafterweise natürlich auch gleich "anfreunden" (*ouch* x-o) musste, für eine weise Entscheidung hielt, sie auch tatsächlich zu machen (geilster Satz eva!, btw..)), die ich in Zusammenarbeit mit meiner besten Freundin nach 9 Stunden Schule und anschließenden 3 1/2 Stunden Orchesterprobe im Bus auf dem Rückweg von der Oper nach Hause hingeschmiert hab...
Bin grad durch Zufall wieder drüber gestolpert und musste mir so sehr einen ablachen, dass ich's einfach irgendwo loswerden musste *rofl*

Okay, genug der Vorwarnung...

Total beklopptes ( GEDICHT )

1.) Subject will read almost everything that has the misfortune of crossing my path (things only get discarded once they turn out to be absolutely stinking boring... and that only happened two times as of yet!)

3.) Subject got her life-guard badge when she was 12, then dropped out of the swimming club 'cause she got bored without a challenge... -_-
4.) Subject suffers(?) from a very strong case of relationship-phobia!!

Subject has the habit of consuming the ingredients of her meal in a certain succession (WHEN she's eating, that is - my current diet appears to consist of water, booze, cigs and gum... ^^;), even if it's a Veggie Burger (meaning the burger gets taken apart before being eaten). 7.) Subject shows signs of slightly obsessive-compulsive perfectionism in regards to playing the guitar and drawing (or at least her sister claims so... do NOT!)

Looking pretty red now, but ah well, who cares? It was great. With sis, you can go swimming and, *gasp* how crazy's this?, actually do some SWIMMING!

Restrung my guitar today and this time the %§$! of an E-string didn't dare mess with me!
